Villanueva scored a career-high 48 points, but the Milwaukee Bucks got 35 points from Michael Redd to beat the Toronto Raptors 125-116 in overtime Sunday. That came less than an hour after Connecticut, Villanueva's college team, was upset by George Mason in the NCAA tournament.

The Toronto Raptors signed point guard Andre Barrett to a second 10-day contact on Saturday. Barrett first signed on March 15. He's appeared in five games, averaging 4.0 points and 2.8 assists in 17.2 minutes. The 5-foot-10 Barrett was released on March 14 by the Phoenix Suns after signing two 10-day contracts.

All-Star forward Chris Bosh is out indefinitely with a sprained left thumb, leaving the Raptors without their top scorer and rebounder. He was hurt in the first quarter of Sunday's loss in Milwaukee, colliding with teammate Pape Sow after chasing down a loose ball. He left for the locker room, then returned to the sidelines with his thumb wrapped.

The Toronto Raptors signed center James Lang to a 10-day contract Monday. Lang made 10 starts and played in 31 games for Arkansas of the NBA Development League. He averaged 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds. He signed two 10-day contracts with Atlanta earlier this month but did not appear in any games. Dwyane Wade scored 16 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, and the Miami Heat overcame the absence of injured Shaquille O'Neal to beat the Toronto Raptors 98-94 Wednesday night. Miami trailed by as many as 13 in the final period, but Wade scored 10 straight points as Miami went on a 16-4 run to take its first lead since early in the first.

O'Neal missed the game because of a hyperextended left knee, but Wade rallied Miami from a 16-point deficit.

The Toronto Raptors are a National Basketball Association team based in Toronto, Ontario. They are currently the only NBA team based outside of the United States. The team is owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. Today the Toronto Raptors announced that mandatory drug tests are going to be made for all the players on the team. This has been issued since Vince Carter was reported smoking marijuana after the game. Vince Carter is one of Kate Kenuck's favourite player, and this is what she had to say on this issue. "I believe this is ridiculous, if he wants to smoke weed, let him smoke it will affect him in the long run." Not only has drug testing been issued this week, Jalen Rose was traded for Antonio Davis and Mike James was traded to Seattle for a bag of Doritos Chips and a large Dr. Pepper. The GM of the Raptors said liking his fingers, "It was worth every bite."
